For all those in search for more information about the situation in Japan and confronted with the problem of pages in Japanese, I use Google Chrome for direct translation of such pages. Google has build its translation service into the browser directly which makes it quite easy at least to understand the basic meaning of pages written in a foreign language.
The screenshot above shows the Tokyo Evacuation Map opened in Chrome and with translate from Japanese to English option. It might not provide with an accurate translation but still enough to get an idea of the coverage.
