Mike Arrington at Disrupt: "It's a sad day for me, because I built this"

AllThingsD :: TechCrunch founder Mike Arrington took the stage at his Disrupt conference in San Francisco this morning, having just been formally ousted as editor of his own site. But! Arrington’s not going anywhere just yet, he’ll be at the conference, doing interviews while wearing a green “Unpaid Blogger” shirt and looking for investments as head of CrunchFund, he said.

[Mike Arrington:] There’s a little drama around TechCrunch right now and me, but the focus is on the content and in particular the companies launching. It’s a sad day for me, because I built this.
