Twitter 100,000 tweets, Facebook 510,000 posts and KakaoTalk 700,000 messages per minute

Penn Olson :: Seoul based KakaoTalk is a platform and software solution for one-to-one or group chats on mobile devices (worldwide). KakaoTalk rang in the New Year announcing it achieved one billion messages sent in a single day. On January 4, KakaoTalk achieved their milestone billion messages in a single day, which equates to an average of 700,000 messages sent every minute. By comparison: Twitter experiences 100,000 tweets and Facebook 510,000 comments per minute.
