With 100 million users' data breached: 2011 was the year of Anonymous

Forbes :: A Verizon Study now confirms that 2011 was the year of Anonymous, with 100 Million users' data breached by hacktivists. Anonymous may have had a rough 2012 so far, with dozens of its most active members arrested and one of its leaders and organizers revealed as a government informant. But a quick look at the stats shows that in terms of pure information mayhem, 2011 was its most effective year yet.
