Guardian :: News Corporation has released a unanimous statement of support for Rupert Murdoch, after its board met to consider the findings of the parliamentary report that concluded the media mogul was "not a fit person" to lead a major global corporation. The company convened an unscheduled board meeting by telephone to discuss the critical findings of the select committee, and its members confirmed they had "full confidence" in Murdoch's "fitness".
