Vimeo Awards: Online indie video finally gets the spotlight

VentureBeat :: The Vimeo Festival + Awards is taking place alongside a rapidly changing company. Already this year, a new CEO has taken the reins, the company has drastically redesigned its main site, and it has launched a wide array of mobile apps to bring more mobile users into the fold. So embracing a real-life awards show in New York City adds to the list of ways the company is setting itself apart from other video-focused sites.
