Google owns Instagram competitor Snapseed now

VentureBeat :: Google bought “photography first” mobile app developer Nik Software today, meaning Google also now owns Instagram competitor Snapseed. But while Snapseed will give Google those sepia filters, it also provides an arsenal of photography apps the company can use for its social network, Google+.
