Firefox's Mozilla plans to test its Social API with Facebook Messenger, by @beiingdou

A step interesting for developers of social applications: Mozilla's browser based Social API will help developers to tie in their social services with the browser rather than websites.

The Next Web :: Mozilla has revealed that it has added “preliminary support” for its new Social API to the Firefox Beta for Windows, Mac and Linux as it plans to open up testing of the tool in coming weeks in collaboration with Facebook and its Messenger product.
