Facebook's Instant Articles and Google's alternative. What's in it for publishers?

FIPP.com :: While Apple will soon start to offer curated news from 20 publishers, including Condé Nast, ESPN, The New York Times, Hearst, Time Inc., CNN and Bloomberg through its Apple News app, available with iOS 9 on 16 September, Facebook is still in early Alpha with Instant Articles. The social network is currently testing the new native content format with a few carefully selected publishing partners. And now Google has joined with a third option and Instant Article alternative and New York Times and Guardian are among those participating, while it takes its first steps.
