Why The Wirecutter lets other publishers run its product reviews

Digiday :: Obsessive gadget-review site The Wirecutter is taking its services to other publishers. The site, which spends hundreds of hours on its reviews, is building its brand among new readers by working with the likes of Engadget, The New York Times and Vulture, which have tapped the site for their own custom reviews.
