Video might be the future, but text is the present for digital news

Digiday :: More than three-fourths of people mostly rely on text for their news, according to the Reuters Institute's 2016 Digital News Report. That's true even as online news organizations are stampeding into video, lured by the hope of eyeballs and ad dollars. But 41 percent said they find reading more convenient, and more than a third are put off by preroll ads.
